What is the Production Tracking System (PTS)?

The Production Tracking System (PTS) is a web-based application that tracks the capacity and production of certain renewable energy systems installed across Massachusetts.

Primary Functions

1. Provide data to the public about renewable energy systems installed in the Commonwealth to evaluate their performance, ensure the effectiveness the Commonwealth’s renewable energy programs, and promote the growth of the industry in Massachusetts
2. Provide owners of renewable energy systems a convenient method for tracking their production and participating in certain Massachusetts clean energy incentive programs, including the Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard (RPS), the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (APS), and the Clean Peak Standard (CPS)
