What happens when my system’s SREC eligibility ends?

After 40 quarters, your system's SREC eligibility will end. You can review your system's SREC eligible period by going to View System Information, selecting your system, and then going to the Installation page for your system. Your system's SREC eligibility ends on the SREC Opt-In End Date. 

Your system will automatically be transferred from the SREC program to the Class I REC program. To receive Class I RECs, you can continue reporting to PTS each month. You should contact your SREC aggregator to confirm if they will continue acting as your aggregator for Class I RECs. No other action is needed from the system owner. 

If you have access to the system, you can find the SREC information with the following instructions:

1. After logging into PTS, select View System Information from the navigation menu on the left
2. Then in the data field at the bottom select the system you would like to review
3. Then select the View System button above the data field 
4. On the next page select the Installation tab
5. Scroll to the bottom until you reach the SREC Information section
6. The SREC Opt-In End Date will have the date your system is no longer eligible to receive SRECs
